children's lives transformed
Empower children to overcome challenges, navigate social complexities, and celebrate endless victories — all through the magic of puppetry.
You’ve tried everything.
Programs. Incentives. Curriculums. SEL books. Teacher training courses. Innovative learning methods.
Every expert offers a novel approach, and you tried them all. Because your students are starving for tools — and you care. So one method falls flat, and you try something else. And then again. And again. You’ve exhausted every SEL approach out there.
But your students need more. And you wish you could give it to them.
With Project TEAM, you can.
TEAM Tools will give you a clear plan for teaching social skills in a fun, interactive way. You’ll never again be nagging students to act with kindness and consideration. Instead you will spend all your time praising them for their victories.
More than an SEL curriculum, TEAM motivates students to change their own behavior with the teacher as their guide. Designed by a veteran educator for K-2 classrooms, TEAM gives students the tools they need to succeed — in school, at home, and beyond.
Give children insight into their emotional world. Teach empowering tools to make good choices both in school and at home. Guide them to develop sensitivity toward others and instill them with a deep connection and love for Hashem. Cultivate a class team that encourages and supports each other to be their best selves.

You have no idea what an incredible tool you are going to have. We are one of the original pilot schools and we are still thrilled with the results. It is a huge draw to our preschool, and teachers and parents both love it. A huge shout-out and thank you to Sima for her constant support and help along the way!

Tired of spending so much time on conflict resolution and problem solving?
Young children act on their anger and frustration because they have no idea what to do when they feel unsafe. They would be kind, thoughtful, and considerate if they knew how. But if left to their own resources, they absorb damaging values and adopt negative behaviors that are hard to unlearn.
That’s why veteran educator and preschool director Sima Susskind developed Project TEAM. It’s a proactive step-by-step program that promotes emotional awareness and empowers every child to succeed.
Focus all your time celebrating victories instead of being consumed by negative behaviors.

These are lessons that every human would be better off having in practice. How much better to be able to show and teach the children when they’re young to develop healthy habits vs. undoing unhealthy ones and having to reteach. And what’s beautiful about it is that it spills over to the families too

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How much class time does the program take? The program is implamented through a weekly puppet show that lasts 30-40 minutes. We recommend the show take place on a specific day of the week, in a social hall where each class gets a turn to visit. The show will be a special highlight of the week.
-
What is a TEAM Leader?Your school’s designated TEAM Leader is the teacher or staff member who presents the weekly puppet shows and oversees the entire program. She’s the face of Project TEAM in your school, so she needs to have the ability and availability to run it.
-
Do I need a designated TEAM Leader before purchasing Project TEAM?Yes. For best results, we highly recommend having one designated TEAM Leader for all TEAM classrooms. TEAM will train your designated leader and provide ongoing support.
-
How does TEAM compare to other SEL programs? This program stands out by not only fostering emotional awareness in students but also actively encouraging behavioral change. In addition, Project TEAM focuses on building identity—the foundation of motivation. We believe that mindset is crucial and equip teachers to recognize and nurture each child's unlimited potential. Our 5-step formula is seamlessly integrated into every puppet show and taught during calm, receptive moments, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed. Additionally, we engage parents through newsletters and victory notes, creating a unified support system that strengthens children's growth.
-
What is the staff training offered? The TEAM Leader, school Director and all educators of TEAM classrooms are offered training. As part of the program, training for the first year is included for free. Every teacher of TEAM classrooms will join a live training before the year start that teaches them their role in the program. TEAM Leaders will join one training before the year's start and an additional three trainings throughout the year. TEAM Leaders are provided with ongoing support.
